+- ernest having the redemption arc was unexpected, although i think this takes away a bit from the main critique?

+- overall pacing was fun, kept my attention the whole way
+- chase infiniti was excellent
+- timing on this release really aligned with the culture war zeitgeist
+- turns out sensei is the true revolutionary: doing what he does without ego, taking care of his business

+- in the culture war zeitgeist, but i don't think this movie really brought any new aspects to the superman character that it hasn't always been about in the first place
+- nicholas hoult's lex luthor hits all the right notes
+- seems like james gunn cribbed a bit from guardians of the galaxy:
